As part of their topic on food, Year 7 learnt to understand recipes in Spanish. They were given a choice of practical tasks. They could either try one of three recipes (written in Spanish) at home and send us a photo, or write instructions in Spanish for their favourite recipe. Well done to Humaira for following a recipe for ‘magdalenas’ (Spanish fairy cakes) and succeeding in making beautiful cakes, and Gracie is the masterchef of Spanish tortilla! Thank you to Aina for sharing your recipe on ‘pan y huevos’ (egg on toast). Your instructions in Spanish were outstanding!
