Children from Reception to Year 6 recently visited Waltham Abbey Church as part of ‘Christmas Around the World Week’. This allowed the pupils an opportunity to ask questions to Reverened Joyce about the church and Christian worship. The classes had a guided tour as well as some time to explore different parts of the building. They learnt about how the church has changed throughout history and the story of how it was founded. They also got to see some beautiful stained glasses images of the Nativity scene.
