Year 5 have been looking at reversible and irreversible reactions in Science. In a recent lesson the class were observing the amount of gas released from irreversible reactions. They used different mixtures of baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, vinegar and water. It was great fun, especially when the rubber gloves blew off the cups!
