Year 3 and 4 practised their map skills by using an OS Explorer map to navigate from School to Woodford Wells via Knighton Wood and Lord’s Bushes.
Pupils identified symbols on the map to navigate their way using roads and footpaths, aiming for All Saint’s Church. They discovered that some footpaths were a contested right of way and that there were additional footpaths made by the London Corporation that were not included on the map.
The children finished our route at All Saint’s Church were pupils had a workshop on Lent and Easter which they are learning about in RE.
