Speech Day & Prize Giving 2024

On Friday 5 July we held our annual Speech Day and Prize Giving, the perfect opportunity to celebrate the many achievements and successes of our pupils throughout the year.

The pupils put on wonderful performances, entertaining the audience of friends and family with instrumentals, lots of singing, solos, and poems from our LAMDA pupils. ‘Slipping Through my Fingers’ by our Year 7 to 9 pupils was particularly impressive, as were the ‘7 Years & All of Me’ by our Choir, and ‘Titanium’ by the Key Stage 3 band. Years 1 to 6 also entertained everyone with a medley from their recent Aladdin production.

The roles of responsibility for next year were handed out to deserving pupils by our leaving Head and Deputy.

Our guest speaker this year was Teresa Watts, the Pearly Queen of Clapton. Teresa lives in loughton and is an ambassador for 3Food4U. She also runs a baby bank providing essentials including buggies, baskets, nappies, milk and much more.

It was a fantastic afternoon full of proud pupils, staff, friends and family. Congratulations to all of our prize winners!
