The results are in and the following certificates have been awarded:
Year 7:
Elysia – Silver certificate and achieved the best score in Year 7
Sarrinah – Bronze certificate
Amayah and Samreen – Certificate of participation
Year 8:
Amaya and Lilly – Gold certificate and joint best score in the school
Jaswitha and Ava – Silver certificates
Saffiyah and Eliza – Certificate of participation
Joining over 300,000 other pupils across the UK, the pupils took part in the challenge on Thursday 25 April. The challenge stimulates mathematical thinking and problem solving. It involves answering 25 multiple-choice questions in one hour on-line. The questions were challenging and called on students to use existing knowledge to solve problems. The beauty of maths is there is often more than one way to solve the problem and these questions certainly reward ingenuity.
Congratulations and well done to all our girls who took part!
