On Friday 23rd February, Year 6 embarked on a very interesting trip to The Houses of Parliament in Westminster with Oaklands School.
During the trip they received a fascinating tour learning about the history of the building, as well as visiting the House of Commons and the House of Lords, where pupils got to see MPs discussing government matters live.
The pupils took part in a workshop which really made them think about the skills of debating and what makes a good debate. A great time had by all!
