We welcomed Di Butler from Epping Forest District Council on Monday 29 January to give an assembly to the Seniors about their election campaign to elect the new Epping Forest Youth Councillors for the 2024-2026 season. Pupils had a presentation by Di Butler and our current councillor, Izellah in Year 10 to inform them of the wonderful opportunities they can have – regular council meetings, directing projects in the district, making changes for youths in their area and visiting the Houses of Parliament. It is a fantastic opportunity for life and work in politics at a local and national level. Election campaigns for Braeside pupils will be on Monday 19 February and elections will take place on 26 February in school.
