Year 10 and 11 Art Visit The David Hockney Exhibition

The Year 10 and 11 GCSE Art group had a fantastic day exploring The National Portrait Gallery.  Our intention was to undertake our primary research for our upcoming project on Portraits and Identity, but we also had the added bonus of seeing The David Hockney exhibition, which did not disappoint! An iconic British born artist who is one of the most versatile artists;- covering medias such as pencil, collage, photomontage, paint and digital to name a few.  It was a great experience for all and invaluable for the students GCSE Fine art studies.  A great day out!
