The Year 8 and 9/10 netball teams took part in a weekend tournament run by England Netball at PGL in Suffolk. The pupils had the opportunity to take part in various activities throughout their stay such as the giant swing, zip wire, abseiling and rock climbing as well as evening activities when they weren’t on the netball court.
The Year 8 team were fantastic. They remained unbeaten throughout the tournament and beat Cromer in the final 7-5! They came together brilliantly as a team and it was great to see their determination and competitiveness. All of them played their part to win the gold medal!
The Year 9/10 team also had a very successful tournament and came 3rd overall – bronze medallists! They worked tirelessly as a team and improved game on game against tough opposition.
Well done to all 15 pupils who attended the weekend – our most successful PGL to date!
