Pupils are celebrating another outstanding set of GCSE results this year. We had some very happy pupils this morning as they came in to collect their results.
Headmistress Chloe Moon is delighted with the results. “I am so incredibly proudly of the GCSE students at Braeside School this year. Not simply because of the outstanding results, in which nearly half of grades were at least grades 7, 8 or 9 and over 96% were passes at grade 4 or above (significantly above national average), but because of the commitment, hard work and motivation shown by all of our students throughout their time at Braeside.
The pandemic, cancellation of exams and consequent uncertainties about GCSE results posed a unusual challenges, however, Braeside pupils stayed positive and remained focused and calm.
Today we are not only celebrating that they are able to go to a range of excellent sixth forms, that enable their ambitions for the future, but we are also celebrating the amazing individuals they have become. I have no doubt that they all have a bright future ahead of them as they are such positively wonderful characters.
All the staff at Braeside wish them every success in the next chapter of their careers, and hope very much that they will stay in contact with us.”
