On Friday, Year 10 and 11 Art GCSE pupils from Braeside and Normanhurst schools took part in an immersive drawing workshop. The class were under the instruction of renowned artist and Royal Academician Jeanette Barnes. Throughout the session they developed an understanding of her methods and approaches.
Pupils were encouraged to work to create a series of charcoal drawings based on stories and collages of photographs. The session was designed to challenge pupils to explore new ways of working, with some fantastic results.
